In the world of eco-friendly and organic lifestyle, many people have adopted the idea of reusable bottles, WHAT A GENIUS IDEA RIGHT!?
Well like most things in life there are complications, reusing plastic water bottles isn't the safest thing to do in fact some scientists (don't really know which ones) say that consumer products such as canned food, soft drink cans, and bottled beverages leach Bisphenol A. The side effect of being exposed to Bisphenol A is ZOMG cancer, yes we are all afraid of cancer and many of you probably know a person in your life who has faced some form of cancer. So we all agree it is important to keep away from cancerous things, well that is where we get back on track with the idea of re-usable water bottles.
The idea is by making re-usable water bottles out of food grade metal we can minimize leaching of toxins. Im not saying metal is the ultimate solution since it gives off nickel or chromium but people who know more about than us have determined it is safer than Bisphenol A. So here comes the main argument in this review... What is the best water bottle to buy? well the answer is... its up to you but if you want my personal opinion it is Klean Kateen since the water bottle is made out of food grade steel without any plastic linings while its leading competitor SIGG lines their metal water bottles with proprietary epoxy based resin, even if it is made out of melted fairies in the end its plastic which is not so kosher in this day and age. Plus SIGG water bottles aren't recommended to hold certain types of liquid due to the plastic lining, or at least it probably isn't a good idea.
So if you are done reading this go out and make your purchase of an awesome water bottle and while you are making your decision keep in mind what you read here. Oh and I own 2 Klean Kanteens by the way.
